It’s good news that the Homebuyer Tax Credit has been extended until April 30, 2010.

The bad news? In reality, you only have a little over 4 months to sell and buy a house – you can sell & buy a house and receive tax credits!

If you are thinking of buying or selling to take advantage of tax credits, the time to start is now. There are several reasons not to wait.

1 – The Southern New Hampshire real estate market is showing signs of a shift – in Hillsborough County there is a 6 month supply of single family houses & condominiums which indicates that it is no longer a buyer’s market, it is a stable market. In Nashua, NH the supply of both single family and condo residences is only 4 months. In Merrimack, NH the supply of single family & condo residences is 5 months. This indicates that the inventory is decreasing and we are moving into a sellers market! If you live in other towns, call or email me for the statistics in your specific area….
